Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 August 2026 · Applies to pulseforge.ie

Before you publish this. This policy describes what the site actually does, and it is accurate to the current build. It is not legal advice. Fill in the bracketed address below and have a solicitor review it, particularly if you begin processing anything beyond partner applications. Once PulseForge is incorporated, add the registered name, registered office and CRO number here and restore "Ltd" across the site — both are legally required disclosures for a limited company, and using "Ltd" before incorporation is an offence.

1. Who we are

PulseForge ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

  • Business name: PulseForge
  • Address: [BUSINESS ADDRESS]
  • Contact: info@pulseforge.ie

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to. Data protection queries go to the address above.

2. What we collect, and why

We collect very little. There is no analytics package on this site, no advertising or tracking pixel, and no cookie is set by us.

2.1 Partner applications

If you submit the application form, we collect the information you type into it:

Social handle and profile URLTo review your audience and contentLegitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))

What you tell us about yourselfWhatever you choose to shareLegitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))
Browser user agentSpam and abuse triage on submissionsLegitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))

Where we rely on legitimate interests, our interest is in assessing and responding to business enquiries we have been sent. You asked us to consider you as a partner; we cannot do that without reading what you sent.

2.2 Email to us

If you email info@pulseforge.ie, we hold that correspondence in order to answer it.

2.3 Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard request logs, which include IP addresses, for security and to keep the service running. We do not use these logs to build a profile of you.

2.4 The assistant on this site

The chat assistant currently runs entirely in your browser and matches your question against a fixed list of answers. Nothing you type into it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. If we later connect it to a language model, we will update this policy before doing so and say plainly where the messages go.

3. Who your data is shared with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We use the following processors to run the site:

ProviderPurposeWhere
Vercel Inc.Website hosting and request logsUSA / EU
SupabaseStores submitted applicationsEU region

Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, that transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.

4. How long we keep it

  • Applications we decline: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Applications that become partnerships: for the life of the relationship and 7 years afterwards, to meet tax and company-law record-keeping duties.
  • Email correspondence: up to 24 months unless it forms part of a contract.
  • Server logs: per our host's retention, typically 30 days.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict how we process it;
  • receive it in a portable, machine-readable format;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent.

Email info@pulseforge.ie and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission, dataprotection.ie, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28.

6. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions about you by automated means. Every application is read by a person.

7. Children

This site is aimed at adults running a business. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Applications are stored in a database with row-level security enabled and no public read access, reachable only with a server-side key that is never sent to your browser. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not hold payment details or passwords.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use data already collected will be notified by email where we hold one for you.
